The Beach Hotel has a strong commitment to preserving our beautiful environment.

Consequently, these initiatives have been put in place to reduce waste:

Food scraps go to ReGenesis worm farm to become compost for organic gardens.

All bottles, paper, cardboard and aluminium cans are recycled.

All light globes are energy efficient.

Refrigeration is CFC friendly.

Recycled plastic carry bags are used in the Bottle Shop.

Where possible, biodegradable and recycled products are used inall parts of the Hotel.

Most cleaning products used in the Hotel are biodegradable.

All jarrah timber is sourced from ecologically sustainable re-growth forests.

“Bin Ya Butt” containers for cigarette butt collection are placed throughout the Hotel.
