The Beach Hotel has been a community hub for many a year; silently listening to the morning waves crash, the laughter over a woodfire pizza, and the sound of a ‘cheers’ in the beer garden. We have always been open to our neighbours, inclusive of our travellers and a second home for our staff.

With yesterday’s government announcement, it is with a heavy heart we advise our close community we unfortunately will be closed temporarily from today, Monday 23rd March. State-wide restrictions have been applied to all licensed premises in NSW for an indefinite period, due to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

As per the government address, the closure does not apply to our Bottle Shop or Beach Hotel Resort. We are pleased these services will remain open to cater to your needs throughout this period, where we will continue to practice specific COVID-19 cleaning measures. A reminder, in addition to our already high standards of cleanliness, we will continue to function with specific COVID-19 cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards which can be found here

We know our bones are sturdy, we know our community is resilient, and we know together, we will transform stronger as one. We will need to adapt, to operate in this new way of living, to be able live in joy and laughter with each other once again. We are committed to our scout's honour to do all that we can to reopen when it is safe for our people, our neighbours and our wider community.

We will continue to keep you up to date as changes are made in such an unpredictable, and surreal environment. We look forward to the day our Hotel’s lights switch back on, our doors unlock, and our staff welcome you back. Remember, our home remains your home.

We truly thank you for your support and understanding. Together we can stay safe, stay happy and don't forget: Wash your hands!
