2013 ‘Primavera’ Chardonnay - certified biodynamic, 100% estate grown, single vineyard grown in mix of two terriors, grey gravelly loams over clay and red loam over gravel. Winemaking notes: Fruit is hand picked and sorted by hand on our vibrating table. Wild yeast ferment, 8-10 months in new & old French oak barrels and stainless steel, with 40% malolactic fermentation. Wine notes: The lightest & freshest of the three Chardonnay styles we make. Its point of difference from the Estate label is stylistic; this is made to provide immediate, luscious pleasure. Devoid of obvious winemaking artifice, the ‘Primavera’ is one of the most refined Chardonnays in the “drink now” category.
